Love in Deed for Kids (LID for KIDs) is a new ministry opportunity that is part of Calvary Chapel of the High Desert’s Missions Ministry. We have found that many impoverished families in the Democratic Republic of the Congo are not able to send their kids to public school because of the minimal expense. Pastor Asukulu in the DRC has had a burden for these children in his community and started a school at Calvary Chapel of Baraka. They are meeting in very poor conditions with very few supplies in an attempt to provide a private Christian School for these children. We have the opportunity to come alongside them and sponsor the over 600 children that are already enrolled. For just $15.00 a month you can provide a child with an education and a hot meal. This will not only assist these children but their entire families, the church and their community.
